  Terrible experience with Careside!!!
  You think there cheap but in the end they cost you more due to carers not turning up and they still seem to be paid.
  
  Carers are very unreliable and cancel at the last minute.
  
  I contacted the office and left messages for return calls to adjust mums statement but no reply.
  
  Such a waste of ACAT money!!
  
  Be aware. You need to give them 7days notice but you only receive your roster the Friday afternoon before your roster starts the following week so if you need to cancel for any reason it’s too late!! You will be charged.
  When I asked to have the roster the week before was told it was not possible.
  
  REPLY TO MY EMAIL!!!
  1. Mum was only between 2 homes which changed weekly.
  2. I am happy for your accounts department to contact me as I have already left messages for them to call me. Still no answer!

  They are cheap but very unreliable. No consistency in carers, arrival times and carers often don't arrive at all, sometimes without a call or anything. Very difficult when you are working at the office and your mum suddenly can't get anyone to make her lunch. It is very difficult to make changes to our care plan. Requests are acknowledged but ignored. Nor do the carers read the care plan often. They arrive and I need to explain everything again. This experience has been a major reason why my mum will need to go into permanent care. I thought we could manage with some help, but I am struggling to manage mum and careside. They provide little releif despite the extra hours we can get out of their cheap rates.

  WARNING - DO NOT USE. Appalling communication. Always promise to get back to me to address missing funds but never do. I used careside to manage our level 4 package claims. A terrible experience with thousands still outstanding in payments our family made to carers. None of the claims were in order and did not match invoices. This company outsources admin to Malaysia and raises claims but does not follow up on reimbursing the client. This includes, care managers, admin, finance, the CFO and GM. It has been a nightmare.

  We have been using The CareSide for over two years. We have had the loveliest carers, some of whom have attended for the whole time we have been signed up. CareSide do their very best to make sure a service is always provided, which has not been easy through Covid, so we feel lucky to have them as a provider.
